Happy New Year from CDH International!
It’s been another busy year at our grassroots charity:
- We rebranded and focused our organization into CDH Research International to take Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia head on
- We reached $4,000,000 in funds raised to fight Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia
- We joined 4 new Research Collaborations that include 21 hospitals and labs.
- Our first CDH Center of Excellence Hospital Accreditation application process has begun
- We have a new registrar for the Global Patient CDH Registry to help work with researchers and patients
- We joined 4 new Research Associations to combat congenital anomalies and rare diseases
- We signed support to 5 pieces of Legislation to support patients
- We attended 9 medical conferences and 2 NIH committee meetings
- We represented patients in conversations around the globe, giving them a voice in research
- We lit up buildings, gathered proclamations, held a telethon and more for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Day
- Families raised money at fundraisers
- We moved our office, downsizing our overhead
- We welcomed 2 new Executive Board Members
- We contributed to a children’s book about CDH
- We updated our web site, rejoined TikTok, joined Etsy and reached over 1,000,000 people each month on social media
- We celebrated 30 years of serving the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia community!
All of this was made possible by the amazing people who volunteer at our charity, our donors, and supporters. Thank you for helping these babies and their families.
