Want to help raise awareness and share your story??? You can!
We are making it quick and easy to participate this year by giving you all the power to share your story. Here’s how:
- Use the Telethon template in Free Graphics file on Canva – https://canva.link/kixeo4546qu0irt or https://canva.link/xhlmmv47030lnug
- Add your video to the template
- Edit BOTH names on the template
- Download and then share to your social media profiles, tagging CDH Research International
- If you meet all the requirements, we will share on all of our social media. Requirements:
- Be yourself and share your story
- Please don’t mention any other organizations as it’s a CDH Research telethon
- No cursing please. Keep it child friendly
- You can add NICU videos, photos, etc.
- Try to keep it under 20 minutes. Time limits are different for each platform so keep that in mind.
- Remember that you are filming for the public, not for people who already know about CDH. 🙂
- By tagging or email us the video, you give us permission to share it!
- Don’t know what to say? Here are some easy questions to answer:
- How did you first learn about CDH?
- How did you plan for the birth/hospitalization? How did you tell family and friends?
- What was the birth like?
- Surgery?
- NICU experience?
- Did your child come home or pass away? Share what you’d like to.
- How is life now?
- Any advice for newly diagnosed families?
- Why is research so important to you?
- Email us the video at awareness@cdhi.org to add to the charity YouTube as well.
The 2026 CDH Telethon is all April long so we will share any time during the month!
