We want to introduce you to CDH International’s India Ambassador, Shankari Murali. Shankari is the mom to cherub Anugrah.
Shankari is a member of CHERUBS since 1999 when her second child was diagnosed with CDH at birth. The wide prevalence of CDH among babies born in India and their management in India, is quite different compared to the western countries. Shankari has been a volunteer for CHERUBS and interacted with families from across the Indian sub-continent, including Bangladesh and Pakistan. She works for the national Government and has been in the national capital Delhi for many years. She lives and works now in Bangalore. She dotes on her two grown kids and her baby Golden retriever. Shankari is a keen reader and likes to keep in touch with her virtual family and friends.
