Right sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia is seen in about 15% of cases and these patients usually do not have 
respiratory distress at birth and hence presentation and diagnosis is delayed [1,2]. In right sided defect, most common organ to herniate through the defect is liver. In extremely rare case, liver fuses with the hypoplastic lung known as Hepatopulmonary Fusion (HPF) and is often discovered during the operative repair of the defect. Separation of the fused organs and repair of the defect following separation of the organs has been proposed to manage this condition. We describe a case of HPF, its management and review of literature.
