Featured CDH International’s Texas Volunteer is Jessie Alderete. Jessie volunteers at CDHi as a Texas Ambassador and works on the prayer team as well. Jessie is the mom to CDH survivor Tristan.
Jessie Alderete is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, but moved to Houston Texas for medical care for her son Tristan. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner at a children’s hospital in Houston Texas. Jessie has three beautiful children, one of which is a CDH survivor. When they received their CDH diagnosis, they stated they were devastated and felt so helpless. When they found Cherubs Jessie said they found hope, knowledge, understanding, and comradery. Jessie hopes to help provide those same feelings to other CDH families, while also raising awareness so further research can be done and better treatments found. In her spare time Jessie loves to read and spend time exploring new things with her family.
