Featured CDH International’s Nevada Ambassador is Brandi Montenegro. Brandi is the mom to CDH angel Sloane.
Brandi is a stay-at-home mom living in Winnemucca, NV. She has 5 kids – three girls and two boys. Her third daughter was born April 2018 with an undiagnosed CDH. Like many parents, she had never heard of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia until her daughter was in the warmer across the room from her, fighting for her life. She grew her wings 6 hours and 53 minutes after her birth, after a tough battle. Baby Sloane will forever be her little warrior. Since her daughter’s diagnosis, Brandi has been a strong advocate of learning all she can about CDH so she can spread awareness to everyone around her, as well as spreading awareness and support to others who have experienced a perinatal or neonatal loss. In her spare time, Brandi is a writer and photographer. She enjoys gardening and being in nature.
