CDH International is very happy to welcome our long-time friend and supporter, David Holt, to our staff. He is a licensed fundraiser, here to help us fight Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia!
David R. Holt received his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Goldie Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware in 1999. More or less a fancy way to allow himself to peruse a career is sales, which he has been doing successfully ever since. He has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies and spent 10 years with Verizon Wireless where he learned that management with a focus on teaching was the path for him.
David met his wife Karla in college and they have been happily married for 21 years this past July. They have two children, Brooke and Braden (their cherub). Shortly after Braden was born, the Holts found CDH International (then CHERUBS) and leaned on them for support. His wife was the state representative for Pennsylvania before they moved to North Caroline and have lived out in Clayton for 9 years now. Seeing firsthand how Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia effects not only their son, his family is fueling David to step in and help drive awareness and increase the charity’s fundraising efforts.
David’s passion has always been to help others learn and sit back and watch them succeed. He feels a great sense of pride knowing that he can use his God given gift of being able to talk to anyone, in any situation into fundraising success for CDH International.
