Abstract

Bochdalek hernia is a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which sometimes may remain asymptomatic in childhood and present at a later period of life. We report such a case where a 22-year-old female presented with abdominal complaints due to a complicated Bochdalek hernia. Chest and abdominal radiographs aided in diagnosis and the patient was promptly managed by surgical reduction and repair.
