We want to introduce you to Pennsylvania’s Ambassador, Polly Leipold. Polly is the mom to cherub Hillary.
Polly primarily lives in Western PA, just east of Pittsburgh, but is currently experimenting with “snowbirding” and is enjoying the sunny warmth of FL this winter. Polly is a certified mathematics teacher and works as a “Math Coach” for PA Cyber Charter School and is also an adjunct instructor at Westmoreland County Community College. Polly keeps the books for her husband’s business as well. Besides numbers, faith and sports play a big role in Polly’s life. She serves in various capacities at her church, including leading a small group. Polly loves sports and is an especially loyal fan of the black-and-gold teams from Pittsburgh. She is currently enjoying serving as a volunteer at Pirate City, the Southern Home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, during Spring Training. In her spare time, Polly enjoys writing a blog (theultim8gift.com). Polly’s writing expresses her faith through her life experiences. Of course, one of the experiences that has shaped her faith most has been being mom to CHERUB Hillary, a 22-year-old LCDH survivor. Hillary’s life is a frequent topic of Polly’s writing, both directly and indirectly.
