CDH International welcomes Sean Forney to our Patient Advocacy Board. Sean is an adult CDH Survivor.
Sean Forney is 25 years old, and as a CDH survivor has had a medically complex journey since birth. He has traveled around the country seeking support and treatment from several top medical centers, as well as exploring almost every state as part of his homeschooled education.
Sean currently lives in Idaho, where he enjoys volunteering at his local zoo, exploring and taking photos of various animals (and insects) in the environment. He also travels as much as possible when safe to do so and has fun teaching others about the fascinating creatures in our world. Advocating for CDH is important to him as an adult survivor so that other families are able to get the support they need.
