April 19th is internationally observed as “Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Day” and is recognized with proclamations, legislation, parades, lighted landmarks, fundraisers, and other celebrations.
Thanks to our efforts, proclamations to make April “Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Month” have been signed by all 50 governors, and legislation has passed unanimously in the Senate and been introduced in the House many times since 2012.
