This week I was in Bucharest, Romania as Keynote Speaker for a small Surgery congress. I love smaller conferences as the networking is much more intense and constructive. It was an honor to speak to surgeons from around the world, to listen to so many other great speakers, to learn more about adult surgery and to raise CDH Awareness. With these patients aging out of pediatric care, it’s so important to inform general surgeons about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
