To better serve families in the CDH community, CDH International and our CHERUBS division have instituted a new program. CDHi Ambassadors are new volunteer positions in each state and all 70+ countries that we serve. Our featured CDHi Ambassador this week is Ontario, Canada Ambassador, Whitney Reynolds, mom to cherub Norah.
Whitney is a CDH International Ambassador for Canada. She lives in Ontario with her husband and their three wonderful children. She has a passion for photography, and a college diploma in Medical Office Administration. She believes in the power of kindness, and loves to spend her time in nature enjoying walking trails and outdoor adventures with her family. Her third child Norah was born on July 20, 2016, at 36 weeks old with undiagnosed left-sided CDH. The diagnosis came as a shock to her entire family – who like so many others – had never heard of a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and were unsure of what to expect. Norah had her repair at two days old and is now a happy toddler who loves to entertain her siblings with her singing, dancing, and vibrant personality.
