This weeks featured CDH International Volunteer is Awareness Team Member, Breanna Price. Breanna is the mom to CDH survivor Isabella.
Breanna is a certified nurse aide and a registered medication aide in VA. She has mostly worked in nursing homes and taking care of the elderly. Her connection to CDH is her daughter, Isabella, who is a survivor of CDH. Isabella was diagnosed at 20 weeks gestation, had her repair 4 days after birth and she is now a happy thriving 1 year old.
In her free time, Breanna loves to swim and spend time playing with her daughter. She was interested in becoming a part of the CDH international awareness team because she feels very strongly it is so important to raise awareness, there are still so many people who have no idea what CDH is or even heard of it. Breanna say, “the more awareness, knowledge and research, the more chance there is to stop CDH and save so many lives!”
