Featured CDH International’s Philippines Ambassador is Almira Kate Eugenio. Almira is the mother to CDH survivor Zen Kristalyn.
Almira Kate Eugenio holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Financial Management. She is the mother to 2 lovely and beautiful kids, Zed and Zen, with the latter being born undiagnosed with CDH. During her pregnancy, she was considered high risk and had polyhydroamnios but little did she know they were yet to receive a life changing diagnosis. They were basically alone during their NICU journey, Almira, her husband and Zed. They joined different CDH groups just when they were about to be discharged from the NICU. The day she read different stories from different people from all over the world about CDH, she knew she was bound to advocate for these children. She used to dream of becoming a doctor or an accountant but ended up working as an Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, HR Assistant, Customer Service Representative, Support Specialist and now working from home as a Data and Compliance Coordinator in a College in London. In her spare time, she reads books mostly non-fiction and love and life stories.
