Featured CDH International’s Texas State Representative is Kaytlyn Powers. Kaytlyn is the mom to CDH survivor Hudson.
Kaytlyn first became involved with CHERUBS in 2016, as a pregnant mom looking for resources and support. 4 years later, she is more passionate than ever about being that same resource and support system for other parents going through this journey alongside her. Kaytlyn has always understood the importance of advocacy. She began volunteering at age 15 at a non-profit organization in her home town of El Paso, TX, that provides support services to children with special needs, and continues to volunteer for local charity organizations to this day. After spending the past 6 years in New York City, she and her family have moved back to Texas. She lives in Austin and works as a full time as a Director of Sales with a hospitality management company. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family, exploring her new city, and learning about interior design/DIY projects.
