Featured CDH International’s Utah Ambassador is Monica Warren. Monica is the mom to CDH survivor Fenyx.
Monica is the mom to three kids, Daeton (12), Lundynn (9) and Fenyx (7). Fenyx (pronounced Phoenix like the city). They knew about Fenyx having CDH when they found out about his diagnosis when she was pregnant with him. Unlike some families, they were already well versed with knowing about CDH. The birth defect runs in both her husbands and her families. Fenyx is the first survivor of CDH in their family. Aside from his oral aversion and not eating anything by mouth he is a very healthy child. Monica loves playing with her kids and reading anything in her spare time. She is a big supporter and advocate for anything CDH related.
