The CDH community has been shocked and crushed by the passing of one of our adult survivors and volunteers, Josh Benson.
Josh was our State Representative for Arkansas, supported other CDH survivors, was a kind man with a gentle heart who was so loved and will be missed by so many, including everyone at CDH International.
Josh passed away in his sleep from a probable bowel obstruction. He just turned 27 years old.
Josh had been in much pain for a long time and we tried so hard to get him some help as a CDH survivor, but there were no resources near him for CDH care for adult survivors and he wasn’t able to travel out of state for care.

He leaves behind his 2 wonderful parents as he joined his only sibling in Heaven. Gentle thoughts, prayers and kindness towards his bereaved parents, Gerald and Pat, are much appreciated.
