As part of the Women & Infants Center at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, the Fetal Care Center draws on the combined expertise of three world-class medical institutions: Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Washington University Physicians. There, a CDH family can receive exceptional care in one easily accessible medical campus.
Meet Barrett, CDH Survivor. His story is taken from the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Facebook page, “he began life with the love and support newborns need to thrive and grow. But because he was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), he also needed lifesaving medical intervention found at our Fetal Care Center to survive. Hear Barrett’s story.”
