Arianna’s CDH Foundation is a part of ACDHO and works with CDH International to better serve families and babies affected by CDH. Arianna’s CDH Foundation was started in memory of Arianna Lugo and their mission is to provide assistance for CDH families.
Arianna’s CDH Foundation’s mission is to assist CDH families who live or receive care in the state of Pennsylvania. They also include the surrounding states if they are seeking care in PA, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, New York, Maryland, New Jersey & Delaware. Their foundation has grants available for those seeking financial help regarding your CDH child and family. Arianna’s CDH Foundation 6th annual Race for CDH was held this past August in the beautiful Eagle Rock Resort Hazleton, PA. The event looked quite different in the midst of the 2020 pandemic yet the love and support received brought the event to it’s biggest year thus far, raising $7,197.21! The 10K run, 5K run/walk, & kids run is open to the community with food, music, and a chance to win raffle baskets. Ashley Lugo, mother of Arianna, stated, “The event is like a big celebration of my daughter’s life and her little legacy. She keeps our focus on raising awareness at our events and a goal to provide some financial assistance to families struggling with the diagnosis of CDH, just as we once were. In celebration of our biggest year we are giving back for a 2nd year to the Hope Tote Project provided by Cherubs/CDH International, this year donating 100 gift cards! I am so thankful for the resources I received from Cherubs and it seems like a no brainer for our foundation to give back and provide support to this mission. We are honored.”
