Last week, 2 of our Board Members, Dawn Ireland (President) and Shane Perry (Secretary) were in Cairo, Egypt at the 2019 SWAAN ELSO meeting on ECMO in Africa, the Middle East and part of Asia. There was a special section on CDH. It was very exciting to learn how far several countries have come in the treatment of CDH in just the last couple of years. We look forward to working with many new hospitals.
Also while in Cairo, we were thrilled to finally meet our programmer of many years, Kamal Saleh, in person. Kamal is part of our research division and has been a huge asset to our charity for 6 years.
