“This week I am at the International Symposium on Pediatric Research in Taormina, Italy. There is so much fascinating CDH research being presented here that it really encourages me to be hopeful of what will come out of the labs and the ORs for these patients in the next few years.
It was great to see several members of our Medical Advisory Board and past member, Prof. Prem Puri. He sent me a print of his paper on “The History of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia” when we first started the charity and I carried that thing in my purse for years. It was, and still is, a reference material that I consistently turn to. This is just another reminder of the incredible talent and genius on our Medical Advisory Board. We truly have had the best in the CDH world all these years.”
