April 8, 2024 – Betanzos, Spain
Rain, rain, go away!
It’s pouring here in Northern Spain. I can’t climb rocky mountain paths in the rain with bad feet.
While I’m healing well and I feel really good today, I know it would be stupid of me to go rock climbing in the rain alone on rural paths without cell service.
So here I sit again!
Working on the computer and frustrated. Ready to go! Packed, planned and ready!
So instead of walking today, I opened up a TikTok shop, created 100 graphics, answered more emails, finished up the virtual race postcards, helped some shop customers and then packed and repacked my backpack again.
I haven’t left this room much at all in 3 days except to go get coffee, some food and my 2 daily required Camino passport stamps.
If this was any other trip or any other time of year, I would have already known half the staff here, most of the neighbors, and relayed a dozen stories to my family and closest friends about the part of the world that I’m in.
What can I tell you that’s entertaining about a rainy work day? Not much.
So let me introduce you to more of my kids!
