Featured CDH International’s California Ambassador is Rachel McKagan. Rachel is the mom to CDH survivor Sarah.
Rachel McKagan has been married to her husband, Matt McKagan, for almost 29 years. They have a 25-year-old son, Andrew, who graduated from USC in 2017, and their CHERUB is 21-year-old daughter, Sarah, who is a Senior at UCLA. (They try to stay neutral during the annual rivalry game!)
The entire family are musicians who play wind instruments (even their CHERUB!); Rachel plays the flute and our son plays the tenor saxophone. Rachel’s husband and daughter both play trombone. Rachel is an ELD teacher at Yerba Buena Elementary School, and her husband has been the band director at Lindero Canyon Middle School for the past 29 years. Both schools are located in Agoura Hills, where they have lived since 1997.
