Featured CDH International’s Indiana Ambassador is Wayne Oosterhoff. Wayne is the father to CDH survivor Tyler.
Wayne Oosterhoff is the father to Tyler Oosterhoff who survived CDH 25yrs ago at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital. Tyler’s story is long, scary, and a miracle all at the same time. Today, you would never know the tremendous battle he overcame. Wayne would be more than happy to share it and offer words of encouragement to those new parents going through what they did.
Wayne is a 1990 graduate of Indiana State in Architectural Technology. After designing custom homes in Northwest Indiana for seven years, he has been working for Nationwide Insurance for the past 23. In his current role as a Technical Director for Commercial Property he assists their associates with complex coverage issues and the estimating process for damaged buildings across the country. In his free time Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, working in their yard, playing golf, spending long days on their pontoon boat, and being out on his motorcycle getting wind therapy.
