Featured CDH International’s New Jersey Ambassador is Katy Dovgala. Katy is the mother to CDH survivor Nick.
Katy is a director of Health Analytics and has two children, ages 26 and
24. Her oldest child was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia
which was not diagnosed until he was 15 years old which resulted in a
number of misdiagnoses and unnecessary treatments and medications.
Katy is a certified Health Coach and has a Master’s degree in cross-cultural management and a post-graduate certificate in Health Information Technology from Columbia University. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, health coaching, music (especially playing the piano and singing) and writing.
