Featured CDH International’s Mississippi Ambassador is Shereen Kostmayer. Shereen is the mother to CDH survivor Micaela.
Shereen Kostmayer is from Biloxi, Mississippi, and owns an independent bookstore in her hometown. She holds a B.S. degree in dental hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and worked in the profession for seventeen years before retiring to pursue her dream of owning an indie bookstore. Shereen stays involved in her community and serves on the Board of Directors of both the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi and Biloxi Main Street. She also serves as the Vice-President of Howard Avenue’s West End Merchants, Ambassador for Moxey MS Gulf Coast, and is a member of many other organizations on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and in the bookselling community. The fight against CDH is of utmost importance to her and she is excited to serve the CDH community as an Ambassador. In her spare time, Shereen enjoys spending time with her daughters, Micaela and Marissa, and visiting Walt Disney World as often as possible.
