Featured CDH International’s Texas Ambassador is Julie Lachance. Julie is the mother to CDH survivor Jolene.
Julie Lachance is a native Coloradoan who has found a new home and love for Texas these past eleven years. She graduated from The Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics but found her calling and passion to be raising her family after a few years of working in the oil and gas industry. Julie has three wonderful kiddos, Emery, Samuel and Jolene. Jolene is Julie’s Cherub child who tested faith, medical boundaries and brought a new gratitude for life to everyone she crossed paths with. Today Jolene is a happy, healthy, energetic miracle. Julie and her husband Jason have been married for thirteen years and together love working on home improvement projects, camping, fishing and hanging out with family. The Lachances are grateful to the Cherubs organization for the support and community they have provided since learning of their diagnosis. Without that support the CDH journey would be very lonely!
