You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but on December 1st, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the crazy shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we are celebrating #GivingTuesday. On this one day, our global CDH community comes together to give thanks by giving back to CDH International by volunteering or donating to help fight CDH and fund CDH research and awareness.
At CDH International we are working toward a world where there is a global standard of care for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. CDHi is a global non-profit working to help over 6500 patient families in 74 countries through support services, raising awareness and funding and conducting CDH research. To move toward that vision, we need your help. We are raising awareness and funds for CDH awareness and research this #GivingTuesday.
We’re asking you to join in the spirit of this international day of giving and make a donation on December 1, 2020 and help Save the Cherubs!
To help raise awareness of the causes that people care about and further amplify that generosity, this year on December 1st, Facebook will match up to $7 million in donations made on Facebook to US nonprofits on a first-come, first-served basis. Matching begins on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 8am Eastern Time. They will continue matching qualifying donations to nonprofits until the $7 million match runs out.
