Jessica Daffern, a CDH mom from Texarkana, Arkansas, was inspired to take action after seeing one of the statewide proclamations
made to recognize April as CDH Awareness Month.
“Hello, my name is Jessica Daffern and I’m from Texarkana, Arkansas. I’m a parent to a non-survivor to CDH who was born August 26, 2017 and passed August 26, 2017. She was diagnosed after birth. I saw the proclamation letter on the Cherubs website so I just had it proclaimed by the Mayor of Texarkana, Arkansas for the month of April to designated as CDH awareness month.”
