Featured CDH International’s Delaware Ambassador is Roxy Warnick. Roxy is the mother to CDH survivor Lilly and CDH angel Briella.
Roxanne “Roxy” Warnick grew up in Maryland, and moved to Delaware when her husband, Jeremy and her married in 2013. They are grain farmers, and have 7 Perdue chicken houses. They have 2 very lovable pups; a Pomeranian and Siberian Husky, they recently had to say goodbye to their sweet border collie. Outside of farming and being a stay at home mom, Roxy really enjoys photography and stays pretty busy during wedding season.
In 2015, they found out their first daughter, Briella Grace had severe bi-lateral cdh, she was born 10/08/15 at CHOP and survived for 46 glorious minutes. A short time later, they found out they were expecting again. September 29, 2016, their 2nd daughter was born; sadly she had right sided CDH and left eventration. She spent, just short, of 4 months in the NICU at CHOP, was on ECMO with a brain drain, oscillator, ventilator, and all that jazz. She is now a very spunky 3 year old, has had a total of 8 surgeries, no longer has a feeding tube, and is just rocking this thing. Roxy and Jeremy couldn’t be more proud of her. Roxy and Jeremy just gave birth this April 2020 to baby girl Kendall. Roxy’s family has a very strong faith, and continues to praise God for everything He has done for their family, and long for the day when they can all be together again.
