CDH International welcomes Danae Perkins to our Patient Advocacy Board. Danae is a CDH mom to CDH angel Jade.
Danae Perkins is married to her high school sweetheart, Craig Perkins. She grew up and lives in Colorado. Danae is a Vet Tech and her free time you’ll find her painting and playing with their bunny.
Danae is the mom to her only child, her daughter, CDH Angel Jade Skye Perkins. Jade was born October 1, 2007, completely healthy with no signs of complications. She lived 11 years of a normal, healthy, beautiful life, free of NICU and hospital visits. She had lots of friends, very active in MMA and was the happiest girl you’d ever know. Danae became Jade’s CDH Angel Mom suddenly and unexpectedly on August 6, 2019. Jade had undiagnosed LCDH and they had no idea that CDH even existed.
Danae is incredibly grateful to have CDHi in her life as the Charity has been a wonderful light in their darkest time. She is here to fight against Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
