Featured Doctor: Dr. Kaveer Chatoorgoon, MD

We want to thank Dr. Kaveer Chatoorgoon, MD, FRCSC, FACS, FAAP  at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, for Bringing Hope Around the World to our CDH Families.

Laura Henderson, mom to cherub Lucie and daughter Lydia had this to say about Dr. Chatoorgoon, “Words cannot express our gratitude to Dr. Chattergoon at Cardinal Glennon. Our oldest had CDH and he did her repair when she was 10 days old. He has never dismissed any of our concerns through the years, and his genuine love for each of his patients is visible with how he interacts with them. Our youngest did not have CDH, but did end up having a NICU stay. He put her on ECMO, placed her g-tube, and did surgery to close her stoma. Again, his care for her and us was unbelievable. When he took our youngest for her g-tube he reassured us by saying, “we’ve been through worse together.” He is an exceptional surgeon, and I owe him so much for saving both of our girls.”
