2016 was the year that ACDHO really grew with the Paris conference. For the first time, several leaders from CDH charities came together to form a deeper bond in our community. It was also our charity’s second family conference in Europe.
Our Research Dept. grew as well, awarding several grants, co-authoring a research poster and our began our work with the NIH.

- Reached over 6000 families and medical care providers in our membership

- 2016 ACDHO CDH Conference in Paris bought together 5 charities

- Unanimous passing of resolution proclaiming April, 2016 Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Month in the U.S. Senate

- Gathered 48 state proclamations, bringing us to all 50 states proclaiming April 19th
- Met with Congressmen on Capitol Hill
