2012 was a big year… our first CDH Awareness Parade in Washington DC bought out 100’s of members to march from the Lincoln Memorial to the steps of Capitol Hill, where Senator Jeff Sessions welcomed us and talked about the legislation he co-sponsored for us. But that was just one of many marches that we had on April 19th around the country, involving over 1000 members.
We installed a new Executive Board and Parent Advisory Board, more new projects, more services and our membership grew to over 4000 CDH patients and families.
