CDH International Speaks at the International Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Study Group Conference

4 members of CDH International’s staff, as well as several members of our Medical Advisory Board, were in attendance at the 2017 CDH Study Group Conference in Liverpool, along with every CDH expert from around the globe.

Every new accomplishment in Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research was announced, questioned, sometimes debated at the meeting.

Our Office Manager was able to post each lecture on our Facebook page.

CDHi was represented by our President, Dawn Ireland, who gave a very well received speech on our non-profit’s transition to a research entity, the great need for a global standard of care and pushing for better care through hospital accreditation.

CDHi is a long standing member of the CDH Study Group and research database collaborator.   This is the 3rd time that we have spoken to this group of experts.

As the oldest and largest CDH charity in the world, we take our responsibility of mentoring new CDH charities very seriously and bought along leaders of the French and Spanish charities, as well as new CDHi member, Onno Zwart, who formerly led the Dutch charity.

We look forward to co-hosting the next event here in the United States and continuing to work with many other CDHSG members on various research projects.
